WORCESTER – The beginning of Notre Dame Academy’s 75th anniversary was marked by a Mass on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the school. Father Jonathan J. Slavinskas, school chaplain and pastor of Our Lady of Providence Parish, celebrated the Mass. Marilyn Tencza, head of school, gave an introduction. Participants included staff, students, alumni and Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, whose congregation founded the school. Representing St. Julie Billiart, the sisters’ foundress, freshman Cailyn Busenburg gave a reflection. A reception followed.
