Speaking at the 2025 Worcester Catholic Women’s Conference will be Tim Francis, giving a talk titled “Signs from God-Miracles and their Meanings.”
Mr. Francis has previously spoken at both the diocesan women’s and men’s conferences. Mr. Francis, one of six children, grew up attending Mass regularly. However, like many, he was not solidly grounded in his faith despite the devoutness of his mother. Naturally, during his college years he was led astray, and he embraced a party lifestyle, drifting away from the Church. By the time he graduated, he had developed a cocaine addiction.
Tim’s mother never gave up hope. In 1999, she sent him a VHS tape of the FOX program “Signs from God – Science Tests Faith.” He tucked it away for years and a decade later he watched it and began to understand the significance of the miracles highlighted in the show. His is the story of a mother’s love and prayers guiding her child back to the Church and Our Blessed Mother’s loving arms.
Since his reversion to the faith, Mr. Francis has dedicated himself to conducting over a hundred parish missions, resulting in profound impacts on many lives. Many believe you can either believe in God or you can believe in science. Mr. Francis demonstrates that believing in God is believing in science, for God is truth and science is the pursuit of truth.
Mr. Francis has authored a new book about his Faith journey, From the Crack House to God’s House. In his book, Mr. Francis explains his path from altar boy to party boy; from non-denominational mega church goer back to the Roman Catholic Church. He shares with audiences all over the country his quest for truth. His live presentations feature a video of miracles. These presentations have transformed lives and given hope to countless mothers praying for their own children.
In addition to hundreds of parish and conference presentations, Mr. Francis has been featured on EWTN’s Life on the Rock, Lifesite News,’ The John-Henry Weston Show, and locally on Catholic TV’s This is the Day. His website is sciencetestsfaith.com. He will also be presenting at All Saints Parish in Haverhill on Oct. 5 and 6.
Also speaking at the conference will be Father Matthew Norwood, a pastor from the Archdiocese of Boston; Dr. Madeline Colon-Usowicz, a local family physician; Adam Janke of St. Paul Street Evangelization; and Noelle Mering, a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C.
Priests will be available for the sacrament of reconciliation during the lunch break. The conference will begin with adoration and the rosary led by Bishop McManus who will also celebrate the vigil Mass at 5 p.m. in St. Joseph Basilica.
Tickets are $60. Student tickets (16-22) are $25. Both include breakfast and lunch. Visit wcwconference.com for details and registration information or call Corinn Dahm at 508-277-3969.
